As part of strengthening bilateral relations between Algeria and Lebanon, His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Kamel Bouchama, received Dr. Nizar Younes, writer and thinker, founder and honorary chairman of the Board of Directors of BUTEC, at the Embassy in Beirut on Wednesday afternoon, June 4, 2025.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the historical ties between BUTEC and Algeria and the pioneering role the company has played for decades in supporting economic and infrastructure development in Algeria. The prospects for future cooperation between the two parties were also discussed, particularly in light of current regional and international challenges and the need for strategic partnerships based on trust and shared interests. During the meeting, Dr. Nizar Younes emphasized the deep ties that unite the two brotherly peoples, praising the level of constructive cooperation that has characterized relations between the two sides over the years.
For his part, Ambassador Bouchema commended the role played by BUTEC in Algeria, considering this partnership a model to be emulated in Arab-Arab cooperation based on professionalism and mutual respect.
