His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Kamel Bouchama, received this afternoon, May 20, 2025, at the Embassy in Beirut, Mr. Salah Salem, owner and editor-in-chief of Al-Liwaa newspaper, one of the oldest Lebanese media institutions.
The meeting included an in-depth discussion on the role of the media in promoting a culture of dialogue and consolidating the values of unity and openness, in light of the multiple challenges facing the region. The fraternal relations between Algeria and Lebanon were also discussed, as was the importance of media and cultural cooperation between the two countries, in serving the truth and supporting just causes in the Arab world.
His Excellency the Ambassador also praised the professional role played by journalist Mr. Salah Salem and the responsible approach he adopts in his journalistic approaches, which reflects a firm commitment to the national interest and a common Arab sense.
