His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Kamal Bouchama, received on Thursday morning, April 17, 2025, Professor Luna Abu Suwairh, Director-General of the Center for Arab Unity Studies, accompanied by Dr. Kamal Khalaf Al-Tawil, a member of the Center's Executive Committee. The visit was a protocol visit aimed at congratulating His Excellency on his appointment as Ambassador of the Algerian Republic to the Lebanese Republic.
The occasion was a symbolic event that carried dimensions beyond protocol. Dr. Khalaf Al-Tawil presented His Excellency the Ambassador with an intellectual trilogy entitled "A New Visit to Arab History," a research work that re-examines the trajectories of Arab history with a critical and forward-looking vision, drawing on experience and laying the foundations for renaissance and renewal.
The meeting, in its deeper dimensions, addressed the role of thought in shaping collective Arab consciousness and the need to reactivate joint cultural action systems in light of the challenges of fragmentation. The meeting also addressed the vital role that Algeria can play, based on its historical experience of struggle, in restoring a unified discourse and strengthening the dynamics of Arab solidarity, both culturally and politically.
