As part of efforts to expand economic cooperation between Algeria and Lebanon, His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Kamel Bouchama, received on Tuesday morning, May 21, 2025, prominent Lebanese businessman Mr. Raymond Chammas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medco, one of the most prominent companies operating in the energy and services sector.
During the meeting, views were exchanged regarding investment opportunities in Algeria, its promising investment climate, and promising areas for growth, in light of the ongoing economic reforms aimed at enhancing transparency and stimulating partnerships with the national and foreign private sectors.
For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Bouchama expressed Algeria's welcome to all serious investment initiatives, stressing the Algerian state's commitment to providing a stimulating business environment based on the principle of balanced partnership and mutual interests, within the framework of a national development vision with a strategic dimension.
