His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador to the Lebanese Republic, Mr. Kamal Bouchama, received this morning, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the embassy headquarters in Beirut, prominent journalist and researcher Dr. Walid Sharara, one of the most prominent intellectual writers at Al-Akhbar newspaper.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on current developments in the regional scene and the rapid strategic transformations taking place in the Middle East, reshaping the balance of power and international relations in the region. The geopolitical challenges posed by these transformations on the countries of the region were also addressed, including the issue of national sovereignty, the implications of the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the reality of liberation movements in light of international changes.
