His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Kamal Bouchama, received Lebanese journalist Abdel Rahman Al-Solh yesterday, April 22, 2025, at the Algerian Embassy in Beirut, for a meeting that bore a distinctive cultural and media character.
The meeting addressed the role of Arab media in defending just causes and its contribution to building public awareness based on the values of freedom, sovereignty, and justice. The importance of cultural interaction between Algeria and Lebanon was also addressed, as a lever for strengthening bilateral relations and building bridges between the intellectual elites of the two countries.
In a gesture of mutual appreciation, journalist Abdel Rahman Al-Solh presented His Excellency the Ambassador with a copy of one of his books, "The Tower," a literary work with symbolic and intellectual dimensions that reflects the author's vision of Lebanese and Arab reality.
In turn, His Excellency Ambassador Kamal Bouchama presented his guest with a copy of his book, “Emir Abdelkader and the Algerians of the Levant,” which covers key moments in the history of the Algerian struggle, as well as the contributions made by Algerians in the Arab Levant, particularly in Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine.
