On Monday morning, June 2, 2025, His Excellency the Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Kamal Bouchama, received prominent Lebanese journalist and political analyst Dr. Salem Zahran at the embassy headquarters in Beirut.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere characterized by cordiality and mutual respect, providing an opportunity to exchange views on regional developments and the geopolitical challenges facing the Arab region in light of rapid international transformations. The discussion also focused on the importance of the media's role in supporting stability, consolidating a culture of dialogue, and enhancing people's awareness of their common interests under the current circumstances. In a gesture of appreciation, His Excellency Ambassador Kamal Bouchama presented Dr. Zahran with a signed copy of one of his valuable works, "Emir Abdelkader and the Algerians of the Levant." This research documenting the Algerian presence in the Arab Levant and shedding light on the life of one of the most prominent figures of resistance and national liberation in contemporary Arab history.
