His Excellency the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Lebanon, Mr. Kamal Bouchama, received a delegation from the Al-Quds International Foundation on the morning of June 25, 2025, at the Algerian Embassy in Beirut. The delegation included the Foundation's Director-General, Mr. Yassin Hamoud, and the Director of Public Relations, Mr. Ali Younes.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the escalating violations against the Holy City of Jerusalem and the continued attempts by the occupation to impose a new Judaization reality in the vicinity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque through policies of forced expulsion, restrictions on Palestinians, and preventing them from performing their religious rituals.
The Al-Quds Foundation delegation expressed its deep concern over what it described as a "deliberate program" being implemented by the occupation authorities, aimed at gaining complete control over the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and its surroundings, as part of an expansionist vision aimed at obliterating the Arab and Islamic identity of the Holy City.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador reiterated Algeria's firm and supportive stance on the Palestinian cause, stressing that Algeria, its leadership and people, places the defense of Jerusalem and Palestine at the core of its political and diplomatic priorities and calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding the grave violations of international legitimacy and human rights.
